The participation and interest of the Latin American students reaffirmed the importance of continuing to spread our message beyond Paraguay.

International Expansion: Our Exhibition in Three Languages

The success of the exhibition in Brazil motivated us to translate “Re(x)sistentes a la Deshumanización Digital” into three languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Now, people can download the exhibition in their preferred language. With this action, we aim to reach a broader audience and continue raising awareness of the risks of digital dehumanization on a global scale.

Additionally, we have developed a infosheet to make the exhibition easy to replicate in different spaces. Our goal is for more organizations, universities, and individuals to display it, contributing to raising awareness of how technology can and should be used to promote peace, justice, and equality.

A New Signature to the Parliamentarian Pledge

In Paraguay, we continue to add important voices to our cause. In this regard, we are pleased to announce that National Deputy Johanna Ortega has signed the Parliamentarian Pledge, committing to fight for the regulation of autonomous weapons. This commitment is another step toward building a future where technology is developed ethically and respectfully of human rights. This achievement builds on our previous efforts and reinforces our goal of achieving legislation that ensures meaningful human control over autonomous weapons systems and rejects the automation of violence.

Join the Campaign!

At TEDIC, we continue working to get more people, organizations, and governments to join the Stop Killer Robots campaign. We want more and more people to become aware and mobilize to demand that technology be used to serve all of humanity.

You, too, can be part of this cause. Follow us on social media, join the campaign, and help us ensure that human rights are prioritized when it comes to technological development.

At TEDIC, we firmly believe that technology must serve people, always respecting our rights.
