The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is the United Nations agency that supports innovators and creators worldwide, ensuring that their ideas safely reach the market and contribute to improving people’s lives everywhere.

WIPO provides services that allow creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs to protect and promote their intellectual property across borders, while also serving as a forum to address the most advanced issues in the field of intellectual property.

Since July 2025, TEDIC has been officially recognized as an observer organization in WIPO’s Assemblies.

This recognition marks an important step in continuing to drive, from Paraguay and the region, the defense of digital rights and the active participation of civil society in shaping global policies around intellectual property, technology, and development.
